On a flop of 4♠ 10♠ J♦, Thomas Goh checked to Ryusei Kydoh who dropped in 1500. Goh called. On fourth street, the dealer turned 2♥ and this time Goh got active and bet 2300. Kydoh responded with a raise to 8500, and that was good enough to win the pot with Goh folding.
It was a three-way all in between Seung Soo Jeon with A♥ Q♦, William Tjokro with A♣ 8♥, and Kotaro Ozawa with 9♦ 9♠. The board bricked, 7♦ K♠ 10♥ 10♦ 3♣ and Ozawa’s hand held up while eliminating two players in the process. Ozawa now up to 0ver 70k chips.
After losing a large chunk of his stack earlier against Ben Martin, Pangan was eventually all in with his 14k stack and got a caller in John Tech. Pangan had K♠ Q♥ and Tech had better A♣ K♣. Needing to get lucky or bust, the board ran blanks until the river when it felted a queen giving Pangan the double he needed .
Daniel Lim mucked his hand giving SJ Kim a sizable pot that increased Kim’s stack to over 90k. On a completed board of A♦ K♥ Q♦ A♠ 8♠, the pot was already at 20k. Kim bet 12,800 and Lim called. Kim showed his A♣ 8♣ full house.
Two pros went at it at, Seung Soo Jeon and Tetsuya Tsuchikawa, on a flop of 4♥ 9♣ 3♥. With 19k already swimming in the middle of the felt, Tsuchikawa moved all in with his 16,925 chips. Jeon called and it was a showdown between these two strong players. Tsuchikawa had K♠ 9♠ and Jeon had 6♣ 4♣. The turn of Q♦ and river of 5♠ kept Tsuchikawa ahead and he doubled up while Jeon fell to around 7k.
Kevin Nettles saw his last hand of the main event when he tangled in a hand against Tommy Lee. With a board of 5♦ K♦ 2♠ and a pot of 14k in the middle, Nettles checked, Lee checked, and Jessie Leonarez (still in the hand) bet 7k. This prompted Nettles to go all in and Lee called. Despite having bet, Leonarez decided to get out of the way and folded. Lee had K♥ K♠ and Nettles had K♣ Q♠. With the turn 10♠ and river 3♣, Lee’s trap worked well and eliminated Nettles.
Kosei Ichinose is getting some early action and some early chips. He bet 4800 into a 7k pot with a board showing 3♠ 2♥ 3♥. Benjamin Tay called and the dealer turned a 9♠. Ichinose continued and bet 5k. This time Tay chose to fold.
Luke Pangan did not like the turn of events in this hand. With the pot already at 17k and a board showing J♠ A♠ Q♦ J♣, Pangan checked to Ben Martin who bet 5500. Pangan called and the dealer revealed the river card of 2♣. Assuming that Martin would bet, Pangan checked again and sure enough, Martin sent out 17,500 big ones. Pangan called and was unhappy to see Martin’s A♣[ah} full house crushing his K♦ 10♦ that landed a straight at the flop. Big pot for Martin.
Kelvin Yeo moved all in with his 13k short stack on top of Linh Tran’s 1700 bet. Tran opted to fold and show his queen-jack. Yeo returned the gesture and showed king-jack.
