Then on the river of 2♦, Chen changed back to checking, Huerto did the same, and Huerto won with his 9♥ 8♥ mid pair.
Lee Jong Yeol has just been awarded a very happy double up. Action began with Joven Huerto raising to 42k and Jong Yeol announced all in with a total of 183k. Huerto called and it was a showdown. Huerto had 10♦ 10♣ and Jong Yeol had K♦ 9♣. The board ran 6♠ 9♥ 4♣ 4♦ 9♦ giving Jong Yeol a wild full house! Jong Yeol celebrated his double up with some photo taking.
John Sayo had difficulty keeping up at the final table that his short stack coming into the day simply dwindled. He was railed by Guofu Chen in a hand that began with a raise by Joven Huerto to 45k. Chen called, then Sayo shoved all in for an additional 124k more. Huerto called then Chen shoved all in. Huerto folded. Heads us between Sayo and Chen showed Sayo with pocket sevens and Chen with pocket jacks. The board ran 5♥ A♠ Q♦ Q♣ 10♦ giving Chen the win and Sayo the end of his main event run.
Jeremy Giam Jian Hui was eliminated in 7th place by Ben Martin however the hand that crippled Giam was against Guofu Chen. The hand started with a 42k raise by Martin, then a shove by Giam, an all in as well by Chen while Martin folded. At the showdown, Giam had Q♥ J♠ and Chen had A♥ K♥. The board rand 7♥ 5♥ K♣ J♥ A♣ giving Chen a flush and the double up. Giam was left with 17k and was all in and out on the next hand.
