Patni climbs to 450k

In a three-way raised pot preflop, the board flopped 6 7 K. Jun Saito, having just moved to this table, checked. Preflop raiser Joven Huerto also checked. Last to act Kunal Patni bet 22k. This was good for a call by Saito while Huerto folded. The turn of 5 had both players checking. On the river of 3, Saito led for 40k and Patni just flat-called. Saito had 9 10 missed draw while Patni had the winning hand with K 9 top pair.


Yen Yau Shern out in 17th place – P140,000

Yen Yau Shern may have eliminate Tommy Lee in 18th place however he could not hold on to his chips and was all in with pocket nines against Andrew Gaw’s pocket jacks. The board bricked and Yau was out in 17th place. He earned P140,000 for his finish.


Giam doubles up another, Ota with higher flush

Jeremy Giam has doubled up another player, this time it was Naruyasu Ota. Action kicked off with Jun Saito min raising to 12k and was called by both Ota and Giam on the big blind. At the flop of 7 Q 7 everyone checked. The dealer turned, Q, again it was all check-check-check. Then on the river of 3, Giam checked to Saito who checked to Ota. It was no more checking for Ota and he decided to shove. Giam called it, 76k worth, while Saito folded. Ota won his double up with K 10 flush against Giam’s 5 2 lower flush.


Jongyeol says “ship it!”

Lee Jongyeol was in a hand against Jeremy Giam with a board of 10 6 4 already on the felt. Giam bet 22k then Jongyeol shoved his 115k stack. This sent Giam tanking but eventually called. Jongyeol had A 10 top pair and Giam had 6 7 mid pair. The turn of 5 and river of A improved Jongyeol’s hand further and he exclaimed “ship it!” excitedly.


Huerto adds another good pot to his stack

Joven Huerto is quietly picking up some pots. Action kicked off with Andrew Gaw raising to 15k, Huerto pumped it up to 32k, and got two callers, Kunal Patni and Gaw. At the flop of J 6 3, Gaw and Patni checked to Huerto who bet 45k. No callers and he won the pot.


Liank doubles up through Saito

Jun Saito raised to 13k and the player to act next was Wong Pol Liank who shoved with roughly around 25k chips. Saito had enough to cover it and did so. Saito had 10 9 and Liank had A J. The board drew blanks and ace high was good. Liank doubled up.


Patni recovers some from Yau

Kunal Patni had just lost a hand to Joven Huerto but gained some back in a hand against Yen Yau Shern. Action began with Patni raising to 13k preflop and Yau calling. At the flop 7[6h} 7, Yau checked to Patni who bet 15k. Yau called. The turn of 2 saw Yau check again and Patni bet, this time for 27k. That was it, Yau folded and Patni earned a nice pot.


Huerto shoves for the pot against Patni

Kunal Patni and Joven Huerto battled for a pot that began with a raise of 13k by Patni, a re-raise to 30k by Huerto, then a call by Patni. The board landed 7 3 4, and Huerto bet 40k. Patni called. At the turn of 8, Huerto was all in for 150k and with that shove, Patni folded.


Martin tanks Giam, takes the pot

Ben Martin gives the big stack something to think about…. Action began with Lee Jongyeol raising to 12k, Ben Martin calling, then Jeremy Giam three-betting to 33k. Jongyeol folded while Martin called. At the flop of 7 2 3, Martin checked then called Giam’s 35k bet. At the turn of 6 action was the same with Martin check-calling Giam’s 35k bet. On the river of 6, Martin led out for 35k, Giam tanked, then surrendered his hand.
