Celebration in the air as Marc Rivera sent Soufiane Bakas out of the running to form the Final 8. Before doing so, Rivera doubled up through Bonifacio Mondalo. The chips went in on a turn board A♥ K♠ 6♠ 8♥. Rivera had A♣ 8♦ two pair, Mondalo A♠ J♠ top pair, the river came Q♦.

Three hands after, Bakas moved all in, with just over 10 BB, Rivera joined the shove. Bakas revealed his A♦ Q♠, Rivera outkicked with A♠ K♣, the board ran A♥ 3♦ 10♣ 8♣ 5♦ for a better five-card spread to Rivera. Bakas missed the official final table in 9th place and had to settle for the Php 525,700 payout.
