Just a couple of hands after getting smacked by Wen Fang Po (TPE), Dave “Spade” Erquiaga (PHI) put himself back into serious contention by having a double-up via his A K versus the A Q of Gary Thompson .

The board of J 7 6 8 4 reduces Thompson’s stack to practically where it was before hitting the stack of Christopher Michael Soyza (MAS) .

There still have been no eliminations since we got into the Final 2 tables.

Level: 19 Blinds: 8,000/16,000 Ante: 16,000

Gary Thompson (IRL) raised from the CO then got re-raised by Christopher Michael Soyza (MAS) on the D. Thompson went over the top all-in and got snap called by Soyza, who covered him.

Joris Micl (NED) was down to 21 BB and decided to make a move when aggressive Kunal Patni (IND) raised UTG but was called by Eugene Co (PHI) in the CO. Micl went over the top to go all-in.

Micl showed Q J while Patni revealed K K . Co was relieved as he shared he folded Pocket 9s.

The Flop, however, gave Micl a chance: K 8 6 , despite a flopped set for Patni.
