It is official! The APT Philippines 2019 set a new Main Event series record for the country with 503 entries. Each entry was P55,000 for a prize pool of P24,395,500 (~USD 468,400). Only 51 players will see a payout with the eventual winner pocketing an enormous P5,085,400 (~USD 97,500).

On the flip side, Lim bet 7200 on a flop 6 7 A and was check called by Yasutake Oka. On the turn 5, Oka led for 20k, Lim called. Then the river 5, Oka shoved his remaining 13k, Lim called. Oka had K K flush, LIm Q 9 lower flush.


William Ysmael straightens up for a stack boost

Catching the action on a turn board 5 6 3 7 and 25k in the middle, William Ysmael checked, Seo Dong Kyoon bet 12k, Ysmael called. On the river 9, Ysmael took the reins and jammed his 12.4k, Dong Kyoon called.
