We’ve got a new face storming high up the ranks, Yasheel Doddanavar is now up to 980k after banking a huge double up hrough Edgar Kim. The hand began with Doddanavar raising from hijack and Kim defended on the big blind. At the flop 9 Q 3, Kim checked, Doddanavar bet half pot, Kim called. On the turn J, Kim led for 69k, Doddanavar called. Then on the river 4, Kim checked, Doddanavar bet 150k, Kim shoved, Doddanavar called for his tournament life.

Ron Tate falls to Mateo

Ron Tate just won a pot but it wouldn’t hold. He lost it to the leader Christopher Mateo and bowed out in 24th place. The hand began with a 35k raise by Mateo, Tate shoved hos 240k stack, Mateo called with his massive artillery.

Ron Tate may be surrounded by monster stacks compared to his but he is certainly hanging in there especially after shipping a lucky double up through Jung Seung Mook. The hand kicked off with Mook raising to 32k, Tate shoved 134k, Mook called.

Jung Seung Mook has been swinging throughout the day recently reaching nearly a million then falling back to earth. The first hand began with Sebastian Wong raising to 25k, called by Edgar Kim. Mook three-bet to 75k, Wong folded, Kim called. On the flop Q 2 6, Kim checked, Mook c-bet 65k, Kim called. On the turn 6, no bets landed to bring on the river J. Kim checked, Mook bet 200k, Kim folded. Mook showed A Q top pair. He climbed to 990k while Kim dropped to 520k.

The hand saw cutoff Vamerdino Magsakay raise to 27k, Mook called on the button, Mateo joined from the big blind. At the flop 2 2 5, check check to Mook who sent out 35k, Mateo raised to 110k, Magsakay folded, Mook called. On the turn 7, both checked. On the river 9?, Mateo fired 223k big ones and Mook made the call. Mateo showed 2 5 full house and won the pot with Mook mucking.

Mateo soars to 1.68M, Mook dropped to 600k.


Hirasawa Fumimasa gets full pay with quads

Hirasawa Fumimasa had all his chip in with 8 8 and had to dodge Vamerdino Magsakay’s A 10 to stay in the running. He did just that with his pair improving to a commanding quads with two more snowmen showing up on the board. Fumimasa now up to 290k. He will need more to reach average of 450k.
