Deocrated APT Main Event champion Joven Huerto doubled up to 90k. He was all in on a flop Q 2 4 while holding 4 4 and was called by a player with A Q. The turn A was a slight scare but the river 10 secured the double up.


Ji Young Kim cracks Gerry Abejo’s aces

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 1000

Gerry Abejo was not happy at the turnout of this hand. He was hoping to send Ji Young Kim packing with his A A however when the board ran Q J 10 9 8, Kim’s A K completed a higher straight to double up to 57k. Abejo dripped to 15.5k.


Tadayuki Naka busts Campomanes

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 1000

Tadayuki Naka called Flo Campomanes’s shove preflop for a head-to-head showdown. Naka held A Q dominated by Campomanes’s A K, however, the cards were kind to Naka landing K 9 6 J 10 for a straight to Naka. Naka now at 65k.


David Erquiaga up to 150k

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 1000

We just reported on a winning hand by David Erquiaga, well he just picked up another to grow to 150k. On a board 5 8 3 J A and 60k brewed, Erquiaga bet 25k and Fu Bang Huang folded.


Xiaobo Zhou spikes a lucky nine, burns Russell Thiu

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 1000

Russell Thiu just gave one of the chip leaders more ammo while he himself was bounced out. Thiu shoved his ailing short stack with A 10 and got called by Xiaobo Zhou with A 9. The board landed 9 2 8 10 9 for trips and all the chips to Zhou. Zhou now at 215k.


Pocket tens working it

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 1000

Two players at separate tables claimed a double up holding pocket tens. The first one we caught saw Wee Hsien Paul all in with 10 10 and was behind his caller’s J J. Paul avoided elimination when the board felted Q 9 4 6 10. He doubled up to 56k.

The other player was Jung Seung Mook with 10 10 against Michael Kim Falcon’s A K. It was all in preflop with the board running 9 2 A 2 10. Double up for Mook.


David Erquiaga maintains his stack

Level: 11 Blinds: 500-1000 Ante: 1000

David Erquiaga started the day with around 121k and after two levels, he is still on the balance. He recently won a pot by shoving on the river. Catching the action at the flop 5 3 2 and 14k in the middle, a player bets 13k and Erquiaga called. On the 4 turn, another 13k fired but this time Erquiaga jammed. Player folds, Eruqiaga scoops and has 120k.


Edgar Kim rails Lori Yee

Edgar Kim raised to 5k, Lori Yee shoved 47k, Kim called. Yee A 10, Kim dominated with A Q, the board ran K J 6 7 4. Kim now at 121k, Yee eliminated.
