As quick as it came it was lost. For Edgar Kim at least. He won a pot against Craig Landry to bring him over a million but couldn’t hold on to it. He tangled against Kyung Kun Lee to send his stack down to 390k then lost it to Vamerdino Magsakay on the next hand.
Against Lee, the completed board was 7♣ 8♦ 3♥ 5♦ 3♣, Kim checked to Lee who bet sending the action back to Kim. Kim fired a check-raise. Lee tanked then eventually called with 8♥ 6♥. His pair was good with Kim showing A♦ J♦ air. Ikeda rose to 1.8M.
The next hand Kim shoved with K♦ J♦, Vamerdino Magsakay called with A♠ J♠. Kim hit the flop Q♦ K♠ 5♠, but and stayed ahead on the Q♣ turn, but the river 7♠ improved Magsakay to a flush to ship it and eliminate Kim.
