Martin Corpuz rivered! Finishes 9th place – PHP 321,900

What a wild end to Day 3! Jessie Leonarez raised to 50k, Trygve Leite called, then bb Martin Corpuz called with his extremely short stack leaving himself 17k behind. At the flop 10 3 2, Corpuz put it all in, Leonarez raised to 60k, and Leite folded.

The turn 10 improved Corpuz to trips and looked to be on his way to winning the pot however the river came 9 and Leonarez overtook with a full house. Corpuz was eliminated in 9th and the final 8 emerged.


William Ysmael vs Richard Marquez

Level: 24 Blinds: 10000-20000 Ante: 20000

Richard Marquez raised to 50k, William Ysmael three-bet to 140k, Marquez called. At the flop K 8 3, Marquez checked, Ysmael bet 120k, Marquez folded while showing Q-Q.


Lester Edoc soars to 1.8M, takes the lead

Level: 24 Blinds: 10000-20000 Ante: 20000

Lester Edoc is now the undisputed chip leader at the final 9 with over 1.8M. The hand that sent him there began with Jessie Leonarez raising to 45k, Trygve Leite and Edoc called. At the flop J 6 2, Leonarez c-bet 109k, Leite folded, Edoc shoved with his massive stack. This tanked Leonarez for a bit then opted to fold with around 500k behind.


Cooler sends Chua Shan Hui out in 10th place – PHP275,100

Level: 24 Blinds: 10000-20000 Ante: 20000

Immediate fireworks at the final table. The first hand saw a raise war between Lester Edoc and Chua Shan Hui that ended in both players all in.

The board ran 8 2 9 A Q for a set to Edoc who already had the hand dominated. Chua bowed out in 10th place. Edoc now at 1.55M and may have just slightly edge William Ysmael for the chip lead.

Manuel Mascunana was all in with A 3 and Czar Ian Marcos called with A J. The board ran 2 3 2 8 10 for nut flush to Marcos and Mascunana an 11th place finish.


Edison Marzan out in 12th place – PHP 235,100

Level: 24 Blinds: 10000-20000 Ante: 20000

Edison Marzan all in with A-6 and had to get lucky against Lester Edoc’s 10-10 to avoid the rail. No such luck arrived and he was out in 12th place.


Benedict Koh knocked out in 13th place – PHP 201,000

Level: 23 Blinds: 8000-16000 Ante: 16000

Benedict Koh three-bet all in with 10 9 and original raiser Richard Marquez called with 8 8. No hits on the board for Koh to knock him out in 13th place.
