We rarely see one round penalties but sometimes they are enforced. On a completed board 2♦ 10♦ 3♦ K♦ 9♣, Andrew Doyle was all in sending the action to Huang Jiang Ho. Ho opened his cards revealing 10♥ 10♠ but hadn’t announced his action. Thinking Huang had open-folded, Doyle turned over A♣ 3♣ which Huang saw.
This was then followed with much confusion. Huang insisted he hadn’t acted and Doyle believed Huang’s hand was dead. The TD was called and it was ruled that Huang’s hand was still live because it wasn’t mucked. Huang doubled up but was given a stiff one round penalty.
On a full board 5♥ 3♦ A♣ Q♦ 2♦ and a pot of 35k swimming in the middle, Alexis Lim checked, Kyung Min Lee bet 17.2k, Lim tanked, then folded.
Min went on to win the next hand. He was against Victorino Torres who folded on a bet by Min with the board showing 2♠ 5♠ Q♠ A♣.
Min up to around 135K.
Jessie Leonarez raised to 3500 and sb Konstantin Pogodin called. The flop 2♠ Q♦ J♣ saw Pogodin check, Leonarez c-bet 4200, and called. On the A♥ turn, Leonarez sent out 7k and Pogodin check-called again. On the 7♣ river, Pogodin checked, Leonarez continued with a 7k bet, and this time won it with no call from Pogodin.
Dhanesh Chainani and Inaki Santos went at it again, this time they were both in mid-position. Unfortunately we only reached the action on a board 9♦ 5♦ 7♠ 9♣. Chainani checked, Santos bet 22k, called. On the river 2♠, action was the same with Santos firing out 60k, Chainani called.
Santos 8♣ 8♦ two pair
Chainani Q♠ Q♦ higher two pair
Chainani doubled up, Santos dropped to 30k.
Eugene Co had A♣ 8♠, Wang Jia Jun A♥ Q♣, the board ran 3♣ J♣ 6♥ 10♣ A♦.
We aren’t too sure on what led to the sizes of these bets but we’ll give you an idea of what we caught. The flop was K♣ 10♠ 5♣, Xiaosheng Zheng had 4500 in front of him, Roberto Tomas Aguila called, JC Sayo all in for 20.4k. Xiaosheng Zheng bumped it up to 31.8k, and Aguila called for a side pot of 22.8.
On the turn 3♣, Zheng all in and Aguila called.
Zheng A♥ Q♣
Aguila Q♥ J♦
Sayo K♦ Q♦
The river 10♥ secured the win for Sayo. He tripled up while Aguila packed up to leave.
Battle of the blinds… Dhanesh Chainani limped in, Inaki Santos raised to 3700, Chainani called. At the flop 7♣ K♣ 6♣, Chainani checked. Santos c-bet 4500, called by Chainani. On the 2♣ turn, no bets came. The river 7♠, Chainani checked, Santos bet 6k, and Chainani called again. Chainani had 9♥ 9♣. Santos mucked.
Three players, Alexis Lim, Makato No Guchi, and Victorino Torres faced off in a couple of hands.
First one we caught had Lim raising, called by Makato, then three-bet to 10.5k by Torres. Only Makato called. The flop ran 4♦ 2♦ 6♠. Makato checked, Torres bet 13k, and won the pot.
A bit later, another hand between them with a flop on board 10♥ 8♣ 5♣. Action was checked to button Lim who slid out 6500, called by sb Makato and bb Torres. On the A♣ turn, all checked. On the 4♦ river, Makato bet 15k, Torres folded, Lim called. Makato opened J♣ 10♣ flush. Lim mucked.
