Joseph Talamayan went on a hot streak. He won multiple pots and railed Alexis Lim in the process. The first pot he won saw a raise from Lester Edoc to 15k, Talamayan three-bet to 36k, Edoc called. On the flop J♣ A♠ 3♥, Edoc checked to the aggressor who c-bet 50k, and Edoc folded.
Next hand, Edoc raised to 12k, Liu Zhiqiang called, Talamayan shoved, no calls came and he won the pot.
The third pot was a big one. On a raised pot preflop and a flop landing 7♦ 4♦ 4♣, a battle of raises ensued between Talamayan and Lim that led to the latter’s all in. Talamayan called. It was a good call. He exposed Lim’s J♥ 9♥ bluff. With the turn 2♣ and river 3♣, Talamayan’s 8♣ 8♠ held to win the pot and boot out a decorated APT champion. That leaves just Edoc as the last remaining APT champion. Talamayan climbed to 740k.
