At the flop of 8♠ 4♦ 7♥, Kim checked to the aggressive Bonanno who sent all his 30k remaining chips in the middle. Kim called with slightly less chips, putting his tournament life on the line. When their hole cards were turned up Kim had K♣ K♠ and still behind Bonanno’s aces. The turn of Q♦ was good for Bonanno but when the river fell a K♦, Kim landed his two-outer for a set and a sick bad beat to Bonanno. Clearly in disbelief and upset, Bonanno was crippled down to around 2k and Kim rose to over 95k chips.
