Day 1b is underway and scattered throughout the room are some notable players getting an early start, among them are wo-time APT Main Event champion Jeon Seung Soo and four time OFC Pineapple winner John Kim. Lim Yohwan, Ben Martin, and Kosei Ichinose are also in the field, along with Jim Bonanno re-entering from day 1a. Korea’s Gyeong Byeong Lee is another APT Main Event champion battling it out early, he qualified at day 1a with a short stack.
