HomeFeng Zhao has just ousted popular pro Norbert Koh. Here’s the story:
Zhao opened with 550 pre-flop and saw the player from the hi-jack call. Norbert Koh was next to act and re-popped to 1,800. Zhao would have none of it and three-bet to 4,150. The HJ player folded but Koh made the call.
Flop 4♦ 3♣ 10♣ landed and Zhao went over the top after a Koh bet of 5,500! Koh called and we have huge shoves-showdown!

Zhao trailed Koh’s ladies but he has lots of outs. It came on the turn A♠ and the river 6♦ was no lady which means that Koh is out of Day 1C of the Main Event. This is a re-entry tournament however so may see Koh play yet again today with players allowed to buy-in before the start of Level 7 about three hours away.
Zhao has now around 60,000.
