After a relatively good start, here and here, Carlos Chang is the first player eliminated in Day 1B of the main event.
Holding A♦ Q♦ on a board of Q♥ 10♦ 4♦, Chang shoved his stack– well worth over the starting 25,000– but saw Mark Dalimore snap-call with pocket fours.
Dalimore needed to avoid a diamond and the turn Q♠ was even better for Dalimore and Chang was formally ousted with the K♥ river. Dalimore easily becomes our chip leader early in Day 1B with about 60,000.
