Unfortunately we only caught the action at the end of the turn betting between Daniel Laidlaw and another player. With over 17000 already weighing down the middle of the table, the board showed 8 K 2 5. When the river landed 9, Laidlaw dumped in a 16000 bet which quickly made his opponent fold.

Paul Hockin scoops up a big one

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

Crazy betting action happening at Paul Hockin’s table with Victor Chong limping in from mid position, raised to 450 by the hijack player, called by Hockin on the small blind, then reraised to 5200 by Chong, replying with a shove by hj, then the same by Hockin which Chong decided to fold on. At the showdown, Hockin had A A against hj’s K K. The board ran 2 4 10 6 10, and with that, Hockin scooped up a hefty pot while railing one in the process.

Rivera’s Postflop Shove

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

On a board of 7 8 10, Czardy Rivera bet 600 on a raised pot only to see the guy next to him re-pop it to 2,700. Rivera considered his options for a bit and eventually announced all-in putting in the middle 15,500 or so more.

Sheepish smile and a minute later the re-raiser folded his hand to give Rivera the pot, which is now around 24,000.

Yu Gives One Up

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

A player from middle position put a bet of 350 to open the action and Paul Yu from across the table made the call to bring the flop 3 6 5.

The MP player check-called Yu’s bet of 850 and both players checked the turn 4

On the river Q, the original raiser put in a bigger 1,750… Enough to force the fold from Yu.

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

Euryd Rivera vs Bryan Huang

Catching the action at the turn board of 3 5 A 6, Euryd Rivera laid out 1700 and Bryan Huang made the call. On the river of 6, Rivera bet again, this time 4500 worth of chips that was too much for Huang to call.

Wally Sombero takes another good pot

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

With a pot of 3000 in the middle, Wally Sombero and another player checked the turn board of A Q A 2. Then on the river of J, Sombero laid out 2000 and was called. Sombero won with his J J full house.

Anh’s set over set sends Yu down

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

Do Hoang Anh and Ryan Yu had great hands preflop that both improved on the board but Anh got the better in the end with his higher set. During the hand, Yu raised to 375, got reraised to 1500 by Anh, and Yu flat-called. At the flop of A 2 8, both players quietly checked. At the turn of K, Yu led out for 2500, got repopped by Anh with a tall stack of high denomination chips pretty much putting Yu all in. Yu moved all in and as they showed, Yu had 8 8 for a set but Anh had A A for a sweeter set. On the river of 3, Yu bowed out as Anh seized a big pile.

SJ Kim cracks aces

Level: 3 Blinds: 75-150 Ante:

With a weighted pot already in the middle, we saw SJ Kim shove all in on a board showing 4 K 8 and was snap-called by his opponent on the button seat. Upon revealing their hands, Kim was ahead with K 4 two pairs against db’s A A. With the turn of Q and river of 5, Kim snagged a sweet double up while sending his opponent down to around 2000 chips.
