After several preflop reraises, mid position player decided to try his luck against Henrik Tollefsen by putting all his chips in the middle. At the showdown, mp had 6♣ 3♣ against Tollefsen’s A♥ A♠. The board ran 7♥ K♦ 5♣ J♣ 2♦ and with that, Tollefsen scooped up the pot while sending one to the rail.
Daichi Tominaga called Victor Chong’s all in with the board showing 3♦ 4♥ 9♥ 6♠. Tominaga was ahead with his 5♥ 6♥ against Chong’s 4♠ 7♠. With the river landing 8♥, Tominaga continued to improve and eliminated Chong with a flush.
Big blind player Lester Edoc and the button player called a raise by cutoff player Jay Chang to 850. The three went to see a flop of 5♦ 4♣ 8♦. Edoc and Chang checked and the button bet 1350. Edoc called, Chang folded. At the turn of Q♦, Edoc changed gears and this time led the betting by laying out 2000 which db called. On the river of Q♣, Edoc led out for 5000, and db called. Edoc won the pot with his Q♥ 7♦ trips.
With just over 5000 in his arsenal, Nicky Filart was looking to double up but was denied when his opponent called his all in and both players showed an offsuited A-J. With the board running 2♥ 7♦ A♦ 7♣ 3♣, they split the pot.
As action folded all the way around the table, db player raised to 800 only to hear bb player KC Wu shove all his 8675 chips in the middle. Db tanked for a bit but then decided to make the call. At the showdown, db was ahead with A♥ 10♦ against Wu’s J♥ 4♠, however, with the board running Q♦ 3♠ 6♦ 4♣ 5♣, Wu landed a pair and doubled up.
Small blind player Linh Tran called a raise by utg player George Rankin to 1025. At the flop of 10♣ 3♣ K♥, both players checked to see a free turn card of 3♥. Acting first, Tran led out for 1400 and was called by Rankin. On the river of 7♠, Tran bet again, this time for 1500 and got a call in Rankin once more. Tran won the pot with his J♦ J♣.
With four callers on a raised pot, the flop A♣ 9♦ 10♠ arrived and Mike Takayama initiated with a 1,100 bet. Ray Serion made the call but Renan Morales wanted more and added 2,100 more. Takayama quickly folded his hand while Serion considered his options.
After looking at Renan’s stack (one of the chip leaders so far), Serion threw away his hand to give the sack to Morales, who has now around 75,000 in chips.
