A hand after his rockets shot down kings, Eric Chen was back at it against another opponent.
The opponent raised 800 preflop and Chen called to bring the flop Q♠ J♣ 2♥. The opponent fired another 1,100 and this time, Chen answered back with a raise to 3,000. The opponent called.
Both players checked the turn Q♣ and it was Chen who bet first on the river J♥ with 3,500. This sent Chen’s opponent to the tank… and all the while speculating loudly what Chen had…
“You have jack-queen…”
The opponent eventually folded to give Chen the big pot. Chen, being nice and all, showed his opponent that his speculation was correct flashing Q♥ J♦.
Not bad a read for the opponent and not bad a fold. Chen has now over 48,000 after this hand.
