Schwippert dominates the raise war

Level: 7 Blinds: 200-400 Ante: 50

Utg player Jan-Eric Schwippert kicked off the hand with a 900 raise. He was called by three players, but when action landed on the small blind, he raised it up to 4500. Not backing down, Schwippert three-bet to make it 10900 total sending the sb player tanking. After a minute, Schwippert claimed the pot when the sb chose to decline in the battle.

Falcon earns himself a good pot

Level: 7 Blinds: 200-400 Ante: 50

Cutoff man Michael Falcon was in a raised pot preflop with four other players as the dealer laid out the flop of 10 8 6. Action checked all the way to Falcon who bet 3200 getting one caller from a player in mid position. With the turn landing K, action was checked to Falcon again who laid out 6200, and with that, he earned the pot as his opponent folded.

No takers for Sam Nee

Level: 7 Blinds: 200-400 Ante: 50

Sam Nee just claimed himself a sweet pot preflop without much of a stir. Action started with the utg player limping in, followed by a mid position player who raised to 1100. Two players called the raise, but with Nee acting next, he reraised it to make it 4700 to go which was hefty enough to get everyone to fold.

Kiat Scalps Head of High Roller Champ Tech

Level: 7 Blinds: 200-400 Ante: 50

Lee Wai Kiat (Malaysia) is accumulating some serious amount of chips. His latest additions came from High Rollers champion Jojo Tech (Philippines).

The Malaysian and Filipino went at it in a pre-flop raising war that eventually ended up with the two putting all of their chips to the middle.

Tech: A 7
Kiat: K K

Trailing by a mile, Tech was immediately shown the bad news carried by the flop K 3 Q as the turn 4 and river J also did not help his cause.

At the very least, this was a very curious bust-out from Tech, who perhaps did not believe that Kiat had the big hand.

High Rollers Champ Jojo Tech Back in Action

Level: 7 Blinds: 200-400 Ante: 50

Fresh off his conquest of the High Rollers event (and PHP 1.32M winnings) on Friday, Jojo Tech is back at it and back where he’s good at: accumulating chips.

With the dealer already tabling the board A 4 J 3 5 we saw Tech fire 2,700 in a healthy pot. One opponent made the call and another one folded his hand.

Tech, who is one of the late entries today, showed ace-three for two-pairs and the opponent mucked his hand.

Kiat wins a raise war

Level: 6 Blinds: 150-300 Ante: 25

As action folded all around the table, the button player made a move and raised it up to 1400. Acting next, the small blind player repopped it to make it 3700 to go. Joining in the party, the big blind player Lee Wai Kiat  then three-bet to 8800 sending the action back to the button who quickly folded however the sb player didn’t, instead he tanked for some time. He eventually folded giving Kiat the pot.

Makedon boots one out

Level: 6 Blinds: 150-300 Ante: 25

Alexander Makedon called a short stacked player’s preflop shove and they went to a showdown. Makedon had Pocket Threes versus his opponent’s A-10. Although the Ten landed on the board, so did another Three giving Makedon a set and his opponent the boot.
