Inaki Santo has just taken the chip lead status in a very intense hand against Feng Zhao at this heads up battle. It began with Santos raising to 80K which Zhao repopped to 195K. Santos called and they wen to a flop of A♦ 2♥ A♠. Continuing his betting, Zhao led for 155K and Santos smooth-called. At the turn of 5♦, Zhao kept going and led for 255k, Santos smooth-called again. Then on the river of 7♠, Zhao paused and checked while Santos announced all in. Zhao shook his head in disbelief then sent his cards to the muck pile. Santos now up to 2.6M chips and has taken over the chip lead.
Santos and Zhao are dead even at this point. A deal was discussed with TD Lloyd Fontillas for good 2 minutes but no deal has been made. Cards back in the air.
Zhao opened to 110,000 and Santos called.

On the river 10♠, Santos led out for 100,000… Zhao threw one chip to the middle signifying the call but was shown the bad news: Santos had Q♣ 8♣ for the straight on the turn.

Zhao fired another 185,000 on the river 8♦ and this time Santos folded his hand.

Jia Jie Liang has just played his last hand of the Main Event and bows out in 3rd place. He shoved all in and was called by Inaki Santos. Liang had 8♦ 9♥ and Santos had A♦ 5♥. The board ran blanks and Liang bowed out of the tournament taking home $49,400 for his finish.

At the flop of 6♠ 6♣ 10♥, both players opted to check to see the fourth card A♠. Leading out was Liang with 100K and Zhao flat-called. Then on the river of J♦, Liang led out once more, this time for 180K. Zhao called and won the hand with his A♣ 3♣ versus Liang’s K♠ 9♦. Liang down to 400K.
Fheng Zhao opened to 110,000 preflop and saw a call from the big blind, Ineka Santos.
Both players checked the flop J♦ Q♦ 9♠ and Zhao check-called Santos’s 160,000 bet on the turn 5♥.
Zhao check-called again (300,000) on the river 4♦ and was shown Q♠ 7♠ by Santos, who won this pot. The Spaniard rises to over 1.3M in chips.
Liang’s chips is slowly on the rise especially after he won a hand against Zhao. He limped in from the small blind and Zhao checked to see the board at no additional cost. With a 8♠ A♣ 7♣ before them, both players checked and saw a turn of 9♥ land to which Liang bet 40K. Zhao responded with a raise to 120K, and Liang moved all in. Zhao folded.
