After knocking out Toshimitsu Kamie, Sai Ho Phliip Chiu has been the action man at the final five. Just before the break, he won two more pots. The first one was a battle of the blinds against Evgeny Kurilenko. Chiu limped in, Kurilenko checked. On the flop 5♥ 6♣ 3♣, Chiu check-called Kurilenko’s 40k bet. On the 10♦ turn, he check-called a 100k bet, then on the 9♥ river, he led out for 105k and claimed it with the Russian folding up.
Next winning hand he raised to 80k from the cutoff and big blind Hung Sheng Lin defended. At the flop 4♠ 3♥ J♦, no bets. On the Q♦, Lin bet 100k, Chiu called. On the 3♣ river, it was check-check again. LIn had K♠ 10♥ but Chiu had better with J♠ 10♠ two pair.
