Sai Ho Philip Chiu has dropped below average stack after losing a couple of pots. The first sizable one was against Evgeny Kurilenko. On a raised pot preflop, and the board showing 6♠ 4♦ 8♠, Chiu check-called an 85k bet. On the 3♠ turn they both checked, then on the river Q♣, Chiu bet 255k and got called. He showed A♠[jh} high card but was behind Kurilenko’s Q♦ 10♦ pair.
The next hand was against Hele Liu. Chiu raised to 140k and Liu defended on the big blind. At the flop 7♠ 6♠ 4♣, Liu checkd, Chiu bet 110k, Liu called. On the 6♥ turn, it was friendly checking, but once the river 7♣ dropped, Liu sent a hefty 275k bet. He won the pot with Chiu folding up. Chiu at 1.8M.
