Shinji Sugeta shipped in three sizable pots all nearly in one after the other to climb to 280k. He is now one of the chip leaders.
#1: With around 19k brewed preflop, the board showed Q♠ A♠ 4♠. Big blind Sugeta checked, cutoff Rui Kojima bet 9k, Sugeta raised to 19k, and Kojima called. On the 10♣ turn, both players checked. Then on the 4♦ river, Sugeta fired out 21k which was enough to win the pot with Kojima opting to fold.
#2: Fokin Valeriy raised to 4k and Sugeta called from the button. At the flop 2♣ 4♣ 7♠, Valeriy bet 4200 and was called. On the J♥ turn, Valeriy continued and led for 6200, Sugeta raised to 13k, and Valeriy called. On the A♣ river, Valeriy checked, Sugeta bet a small 6.5k, and Valeriy called. Sugeta opened A♥ 4♥ two pair and Valeriy folded.
##3: Another raised pot preflop, this time Sugeta was on the small blind up against Pak Valeriy. The flop came down K♣ 8♣ 6♣. Valeriy checked, Sugeta bet 7k, and Valeriy called. On the Q♣ turn, Valeriy moved all in with his remaining sort stack and a snap-call by Sugeta.
Valeriy 4♣ 4♠ flush
Sugeta K♦ Q♠ two pair
The river K♠ improved Sugeta to a full house to overtake Valeriy and send him packing.
