Liu Qiao Nan, 17th place

The new round brought two players all in. At table 2, Liu Qiao Nan shoved with A-Q and was eliminated by Tamon Nakamura with K-K. Liu finished in 17th place.

Konstantin Pogodin, 16th place

At table 1, Konstantin Pogodin was all in with Q-Q and Hiroyuki Yoshimura called with K-K. The kings held to send Pogodin out in 16th place.


Hung Sheng Lin vs Tae Hoon Han

Level: 18 Blinds: 5000-10000 Ante: 10000

Action began with Tae Hoon Han raising to 20k and finding two caller in Kei Kiyohara and Hung Sheng Lin. At the flop 9 2 6, Han c-bet, Kiyohara folded, and Hung check-called. On the 4 turn, Han again fired, this time 84k and still Hung hung in there. Then with the Q river, both opted to check it and Hung won with 9 8 pair with Han mucking.

Hung up to 930k, Han down to 580k.


Yozo Nomura eliminated in 18th place – ₩3,000,000

Jaepil You raised to 24k and was called by both Aleksei Sei and Yozo Nomra. At the flop J K 4, Nomura checked, You c-bet 60k, Sei folded, and Nomura moved all in for 143k total. You called.

Hideki Izutsu keeps on rising, reaches 1.6M

Aleksei Sei is now tabled with the chip leader and is stunned not just of the massive stack across him but the number of pots the leader has just won at the new table. This had Sei jesting, “who is this guy?”

Izutsu did in fact win three consecutive small pots. On a 2 A 6, Izutsu bet 35k and Bae Hyun Kyu called. On the turn Q and river K, both checked it and Izutsu won with K-7.

Next hand, was against Liu Qiao Nan who raised to 21k called by Izutsu. They checked it all the way to the end 9 7 10 8 10, Nan opened 7 4 pair but Izutsu had better with A 7.

Following that, Yozo Nomura raised to 25k and Izutsu called from the cutoff. At the flop 2 Q 10, Nomura bet 30k, Izutsu called. On the 7 and 6 river, both checked, and Izutsu won with 10-8 pair.


Sunny Jennens out in 19th place – ₩2,564,000

Sunny Jennens seems to be on the losing end of pots. We saw him fold to a check-raise by Aleksei Sei. He also folded to Jaepil You on a hand that saw a flop 7 2 5. Jennens bet 30k, You raised to 130k. Jennens folded.

His last hand of the event was just dealt. On a flop 7 2 9, Jennens was all in with 10-10 and You called with 7 6 flush draw. The turn 3 was blank but the river J granted the flush to send Jennens out in 19th place. He earned ₩2,564,000 for his finish.
