Andy Li Xueyan three-bet Kim’s 50k raise to make it 162k to go. Kim called and the flop spread 6♦ 2♣ 8♥. Xueyan led for 125k and won the pot.
Kazuto Sato is putting in time to earn more chips. He got involved in a few pots and winning enough to stay in the seven-digit range. On the first hand, he raised to 50k but folded to Albert Paik’s 150k three-bet.
Two hands later he raised to 70k and got called by Iori Yogo. At the flop 6♦ K♥ 3♦, he sent out 75k and won it with Yogo folding.
The third hand, he raised to 60k and was joined by Kitauchi Yoshihiro to see the flop 10♥ 8♥ 4♠. Sato bet 85k and that was it. He won it with no call from his challenger.
We have just seen the first all in at the final table with Yuchi Sumida shoving it in with his short stack over 350k. He found no callers and was awarded the blinds and antes.
Kitauchi Yoshihiro has been very active at the table but he isn’t winning the pots. Having just lost one to Iori Yogo, he entered another pot, this time against Jinwoo Kim. Yoshihiro kicked off the hand with a raise to 50k and Kim called.
At the flop 2♥ J♣ 4♥, Kim checked to the raiser who bet 50k and was called. On the 4♠ turn, Kim checked again, Yoshihiro fired out a larger bet worth 150k, and still, Kim was right there to tango. On the 10♥ river, Kim took the reins with a 205k bet, Yoshihiro called, and Kim won it with his J♦ 10♣ two pair.
Kim is now the chip leader with nearly 2.5M in chips. Yoshihiro down to 700k.
Kazuto Sato has just joined the big boys in the million marker after winning two pots. On the first one he called Kitauchi Yoshihiro’s 50k raise preflop to defend his big blind. At the flop of 6♣ 2♦ 8♠, he led out with a 70k bet and got the call. On the 4♥ turn, he fired out another 65k bet and won it with no further call.
One orbit later, he was back on the big blind and with action folding all the way to small blind Kimihura Nakamura, he raised to 65k. Sato defended with a call. On the flop 2♣ 4♣ 9♦, Nakamura led for 100k, got raised to 375k, and Sato won the pot with Nakamura folding up.
Sato up to 1.1M, Nakamura down to 325k.
Iori Yogo has just reached average stack with his recent win over Kitauchi Yoshihiro. The hand kicked off with a 70k raise by Yogo then faced a 175k three-bet from Yoshihiro. Yogo flat-called and the flop dropped 6♦ 7♠ A♣. Yoshihiro immediately jumped out with a 175k bet and Yogo smooth-called. On the 8♥ turn and 10♥ river, no bets arrived and Yogo won with his A♠ 5♠ over Yoshihiro’s Q♦ Q♣.
Yogo now up to 1.220M while Yoshihiro slid down a bit to 1.150M.
The Final 8 entering chip leader, Albert Paik has joined the action and taking away two winning pots as the result. The first one wasn’t much of pot, just the blinds and antes with no callers on his 55k raise. The next hand however was a bit meatier.
Paik raised on the button to 55k, sb Jinwioo Kim and bb Kitauchi Yoshihiro called. The flop ran 3♣ A♥ 7♥, the blinds checked and Paik bet 75k. Kim folded while Yoshihiro continued on to see the turn J♣. Both players checked and as well on the river 8♣. Paik won with his 3-10 pair over Yoshihiro’s K-5.

Kitauchi Yoshihiro was the next player to score a nice pile of chips. He raised to 50k preflop and got called by the big blind Kimihura Nakamura. When the flop spread 2♠ 3♠[jc}, Nakamura checked, Yoshihiro laid out a continuation bet of 55k and Nakamura called. On the 10♠ turn, Nakamura jumped out with 65k but Yoshihiro was unfazed and slid out a 250k raise. Nakamura folded.
