Albert Paik joins the action, goes over 2M

The Final 8 entering chip leader, Albert Paik has joined the action and taking away two winning pots as the result. The first one wasn’t much of pot, just the blinds and antes with no callers on his 55k raise. The next hand however was a bit meatier.

Paik raised on the button to 55k, sb Jinwioo Kim and bb Kitauchi Yoshihiro called. The flop ran 3♣ A♥ 7♥, the blinds checked and Paik bet 75k. Kim folded while Yoshihiro continued on to see the turn J♣. Both players checked and as well on the river 8♣. Paik won with his 3-10 pair over Yoshihiro’s K-5.
