Chip leader Jinwoo Kim pumped up his stack even higher after winning two immediate pots at the start of this round. Along with Tang Jia, they called Yoichi Uesugi’s 11k raise and the flop spread 4♦ 9♦ Q♠. Kim bet 12k and only Jia joined him to the turn of 2♣. Kim bet 42k into the pot and won it with Jia giving up his hand.
The next hand also went to Kim who three-bet a player’s raise and got no challenge.
