Sick end to the Championships Event Day 3. Erik Billgren all in with J J, called by Slaven Popov with 10 10, the board ran a wild 4 8 J 9 Q straight over set for Popov. That finished off Billgren in 9th place.

Action folded around the felt to button Ajitpal Singh, he put the rest of his short stack in and was called by both blinds, Slaven Popov (sb) and Lim Yohwan (bb). The flop ran J 9 6, Popov bet 65k for a side pot but Yohwan opted to fold.

Gui Hui Dong soars to 1.3M, Ajitpal Singh drops to 4bbs

Gu Hui Dong banked a huge double up against Ajitpal Singh to send him over 1.3M. From late position, Huidong raised to 50k and Singh called on the big blind. At the flop 4 5 6, Singh checked, Huidong fired 100k, Singh three-bet to 310k, Huidong jammed, and a snap call from Singh.

The turn 5 and river A were no help to Singh and Huidong shipped it. Singh dropped to 80k.


Linh Tran out in 11th place – VND 147,611,000

The river 8, Tran moved all in for his remaining 495k, Chinh thought about it then called. Tran Q 8 pair, Chinh 5 5 set. Chinh at 2.45M.

On a raised pot preflop, the board landed 6 A 10. Sb Dragon Chinh bet 105k, button Le Ngoc Khanh called. On the K turn, Chinh checked, Khanh bet 270k, Chih flat-call. On the river 6, Chinh all in for 605k, Khanh tanked. The covered man Khanh had 480k behind. The clock was called. He folded. Chinh 1.6M.
