Five players were in on a raised pot to 60k preflop. The cards ran 10 3 2. Three players checked, Stephen Schumacher bet 43k, everyone folded.


Chi Chung Ho shoves Ang Kai Loon off the pot

Chi Chung Ho raised to 12k, big blind Ang Kai Loon three-bet to 35k, back to Ho who called. On the flop 4 Q K, Loon bet 33k, Ho shoved for an additional 182k to Loon. Loon folded.


Norbert Koh connects on the river, busts Le Tan Luan

Level: 15 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 5000

All in on the turn for La Tan Luan Q 8. Norbert Koh looked him up with A 4 with the board showing 9 J 4 Q. The pot was also quite large of over 200k. Though Tuan was ahead, the river 5 improved Koh to a flush to eliminate Tuan. Koh now at 470k.


He Hao exposes Aditya Sushant’s bluff

Aditya Sushant was up against one of the biggest stacks and met his end on a bluff. We jumped in on a completed board K 4 2 Q 10 and a big pot already in the middle. Sushant was all in for 135k and He Hao tanked. Hao eventually called and Sushant had to show his A 3 missed draw. Hao knocked him out with K J top pair. Hao now at 765k.


Stephen Schumacher muscles Tung Nguyen, show ducks

Level: 15 Blinds: 2500-5000 Ante: 5000

On a board Q 6 A K and a pot over 80k, Tung Nguyen had a 30k bet laid out and faced a raise (possibly check-raise) from Stephen Schumacher to 120k. Though Nguyen could cover it, he tank-folded. Schumacher showed his 2 2. Schumacher up to 660k, Nguyen down to 216k.


Atuan La’s quads get full pay from Uesugi

We only caught the hand at the shipping with the dealer counting out Atuan La’s stack. The board was laid out J J J A 5. The pot just over 60k. Atuan had Q J quads and Yoichi Uesugi A 7 full house. Uesugi paid the 112.5k double up.

Three way all in, He Hao A K, Tan Huyn J 10, Iori Yogo A Q, the board ran dry with no hits for any player. Hao shipped it while booting both short stacks out of the running. Hao now at 555k.


Quads for Boxer, storms to 620k

As Kunal Patni said, “big pot!” And it sure was. We caught the action at the flop 2 J 3 and a 42k pot already weighing down the middle. Big blind Michael Allen checked, utg Lim Yohwan aka Boxer bet 16k, Patni called, Le Tan Luan raised to 50k, back to Allen who shoved, Yohwan shoved as well, Patni folded, and Luan folded while showing his A-J top pair.
