Big blind Tetsuya Tsuchikawa had yet to act and when he did, he decided to raise it up some more to 10,500. Bringley called and a nice side pot was created.
At the flop of K♦ 2♠ 7♦, Tsuchikawa bet 11k and Bringley folded. Tsuchikawa took the side pot and it was a showdown with Glab’s tournament life on the line. Glab turned over K♥ 7♥ for two pairs and Tsuchikawa had A♣ 9♣ for ace high. The turn of 9♥ gave Tsuchikawa a pair but still behind, then with the river of Q♠, Glab won the hand and tripled up.
