We only caught the action on the river betting but from what we were told, Jingxuan Zhu limped on the button then called a 16k raise by Daniel Tang sitting on the small blind. At the flop J 10 6, Tang c-bet and Zhu called. The turn 4, action was the same, Tang c-bet, Zhu called. Then on the river 3 with 126k weighing down the middle, Tang shoved and Zhu froze up for some time. He finally mustered up the guts to call for all of his chips and was happy he did. Tang had K Q missed draw while Zhu had K 10 second pair. Zhu doubled up to 280k.


Jin Qiang Shi loses another pot, doubles up Cheng Tianyu

Level: 14 Blinds: 2000-4000 Ante: 500

Cutoff player Cheng Tianyu shoved and two seats over Jin Qiang Shi on the small blind called for a showdown. Cheng K 4, Jin A-Q, the board ran J 8 6 K K for trips to Cheng and a double up. Jin now down to 47k.


Victor Chong wins the pot

Victor Chong raised to 9k, Kohei Nakai three-bet to 22.5k, Yongbin Wang called, action back to Chong who also matched it up. At the flop 7 3 A, no bets, and as well on the J turn, but on the river 9, Nakai bet 20k, Wang folded, and Chong check-called. Nakai showed K-Q but was behind Chong’s A-4. Chong wins the pot.


Gavin Flynn avoids the rail

Gavin Flynn was about to leave the table when his three-bet all in with 8 8 was called by Shi Zhikui with 9 9 but when the board ran Q 7 5 8 10, he improved to a set and sat back down.


Michael Soyza leads, up to 600K

Michael Soyza went head to head against chip leader Jin Qiang Shi with heavy action all preflop. Soyza raised, Jin three-bet, Soyza four-bet, Jin shoved, and boom the call.

Despite Jin ahead, the board produced a lady to improve Soyza and drive his stack to 600k.


Tense moment between Carter and Wei

With a hefty 37k in the middle and a board 10 10 7 4, Gabriel Carter checked, Tso Wei fired out 20.5K, and Carter called. On the 8 river, Carter sent the action to Wei again who bet 52k, and Wei claimed the pot with Carter surrendering his hand.


Sparrow Cheung takes the pot

Park Yu Sparrow Cheung, Sai Ho Philip Chiu, and Yongbin Wang stared down a board 10 9 5 with a raised pot already brewed preflop. Action was checked to Chiu who slid out 7k and both opponents called. On the 8 turn, Wang led for 15k, Cheung called, and Chiu folded. On the river J, no bets came. Wang showed 8 5 but was behind Cheung’s 8 9 two pair.


Zijian Li doubles up and more

Short stacked Zijian Li claimed a good pot to keep him in the running. It started with a raise to 7k by Chan Ying Kit, called by Cheng Tianyu, Li shoved, King On Cheng shoved, and both Kit and Tianyu opted to fold.

Jiow Choon Tong defended his big blind calling Daniel Tang’s 6.5k raise. On the flop 10 8 2, Tong checked, Tang c-bet 7.5k, Tong raised to 20k, and that was it, He took it with Tang folding.
