Hideaki Ohashi falls in 12th place – PHP217,300

Hideaki Ohashi has just been eliminated by Chua Shan Hui in 12th place. With action folding to the blinds, Ohashi shoved with his very short 52k stack and Hui called on the bb. Ohashi had Q 9 but was looking bleak against Hui’s A K. The board gave no hits for either to end Ohashi’s day. He earned Php217,300 for his deep run.


Henrik Tollefsen doubles up to average stack

Henrik Tollefsen is out of the hole having just landed a double up against Fu Bang Huang. He first raised to 28k, Huang three-bet to 77k, Tollefsen shoved and Huang called.

Dhanesh Chainani railed in 13th place – PHP217,300

Dhanesh Chainani and Lim Sung Min went on a couple of back to back bouts. Just before Chainani lost it all, he three-bet Lim’s 26k bet to 72k. Lim answered with a shove which induced a fold from the Singaporean.

On the next hand, it was shoved by both. Chainani with A K, Lim with 7 7, and with the board running 3 10 Q 6 Q, that was it for Chainani. He bowed out in 13th place. He earned Php217,300 for his deep run.


Ichiyo Niwa nd Teng Wei Yang double up

Level: 18 Blinds: 5000-10000 Ante: 1000

With short stacks around the table, it has been a shove fest with some uncalled, some busts, and some double ups. Two players doubled up in separate hands.

The first was Ichiyo Niwa. He three-bat all in Kosei Ichinose’s 25k raise that Fu Bang Huang called. Ichinose folded but Huang gave him a challenge. Niwa 10 10 and Huang 6 7 . The board ran 6 5 Q 8 8. Niwa shipped it.

The next double up was Teng Wei Yang doubling up through race leader Lester Edoc. Huang raised to 23k, Yang shoved with 75k, Edoc called, and Huang got out of the way.

Fu Bang Huang rises to 785k

Action began with Ichiyo Niwa raising to 30k and Fu Bang Huang defending on the big blind. At the flop K 2 A, Huang check-called a 30k from Niwa. On the K turn both checked to see free river come down 3. Huang switched up and led for 33k, Niwa called. HJuang opened A 10 and won it with Niwa mucking his hand. Huang now up to 785k .


Dhanesh Chainani wins three pots

Dhanesh Chaninani went on a streak. He won three consecutive pots after eliminating Tetsuya Tsuchikawa. The first one saw him double up through Lim Sung Min with A[ac} dominating K[qd} throughout the board.

The next two pots, Chainani raised and finding no one to tango.


Tetsuya Tsuchikawa eliminated in 14th place – PHP217,300

Level: 18 Blinds: 5000-10000 Ante: 1000

Tetsuya Tsuchikawa just met his end. He pushed all in on the button with J 10 and Dhanesh Chanaini snap-called on the small blind with 9 9. The board ran 7 4 J giving Tsuchikawa some hope, but the 9 and 5 sealed his fate with a set to Chainani. Tsuchikawa earned Php217,300 for his deep finish.


Yun Bong falls in 15th place – PHP188,200

Level: 18 Blinds: 5000-10000 Ante: 1000

Yun Bong will not be making the final table of this event but he did have a great run. He fell short in 15th place, pushing it all in on J 10 but railed by Hideaki Ohashi with 6 6 on a board 6 4 9 K K full house.
