After taking a hit to his stack, Eugene Co was down to 38k and tossed it in the middle. He faced three players, one of them Lester Edoc. At the flop 9♣ 5♦ J♥, it was checked. On the A♣ turn, Edoc bet 65k and won a small side pot of 12k with no callers.

Iori Yogo is in the million range! He entered a preflop raise war against Eugene Co that ended with all the chips on the line. Yogo raised to 45k, Co three-bet to 141k, Yogo shoved for 582k, and Co called.

The board ran K♠ 3♦ 5♥ 5♠ Q♣ for a higher two pair on the river for Yogo. He jumped to 1.2M while Co dropped to 38k.
It was almost the end of the day for the players at the Championships Event however the poker gods had other plans for Ichiyo Niwa. With action folding to the blinds, Fu Bang Huang limped In, Niwa shoved, and snap-called by Huang.

The board ran 2♣ 5♣ Q♦ K♣ 8♦. With a pair spiked, Niwa doubled up to 320k.
Lester Edoc raised to 35k and big blind Fu Bang Huang defended on the bb seat. At the flop 3♥ 5♥ 8♦, no bets were fired and the turn came Q♠. Edoc bet 40k and Huan check-called. On the 8♠ river, action was the same but with a much smaller bet of 16k. Edoc had 9♦ 6♦ air while Huang had better A♠ 5♠ pair.
Kosei Ichinose and Henrik Tollefsen got involved in two pots that saw the latter win them both. On the first one, action folded to the blinds. Ichinose limped and Tollefsen checked. On the 10♦ 2♠ 8♠ flop, both checked. On the Q♥ turn, Ichinose bet 18k and Tollefsen called. On the 2♣ river, Ichinose checked, Tollefsen bet and before the count, Ichinose folded.
Next one saw Tollefsen called Ichinose’s 30k button raise. The flop Q♠ 7♣ 4♠ saw both check and the turn landed 4♥. Still no bets and the river 10♦ was felted. Tollefsen slid out a bet and won it with a quick fold from Ichinose again.
Kunal Patni moved all in on the second hand of the final elliptic and down the orbit, Teng Wei Yang counted out chips and slid in the smooth-call. With no other s joining in, it was a showdown.

We just lost Lim Sung Min bringing us to the unofficial final table of 10 players. Lim three-bet jammed Eugene Co’s 25k bet and got the instant call. Lim A♦ 2♣ and Co with Q♠ Q♣. The board bricked out and Lim took 11th place.
Prior to this elimination, Co also won the previous pot against Chua Shan Hui. Co now has around 582K which is well into the average of 500k.
