Day 2 of the APT Championships has begun and immediately players have hit the rail. Among those were Tetsuya Tsuchikawa whose pocket queens got burned by Le Ngoc Khanh’s set of sevens; Martin Gonzales eliminated by Shinobu Tanaka with 8♣ 7♣ not improving after the flop of A♣ Q♣ 8♦ against Tanaka’s A♠ J♥. The turn was 6♥ X?; then Yoichi Uesugi entered with the shortest stack out of the 104 runners and was ousted by Satheshkumar Muthu. Uesugi pushed with ace-king and Muthu had pocket eights that held up.
