With a raised pot before them, Tofie Runas and the utg players battled on a board showing 5 10 J. Acting first was utg who led out 1000 which Runas raised to 2200. The utg called and both saw a turn of 9. Utg checked to Runas who continued to bet by sending out 5500. Again, the utg called. Then on the river of 6, utg checked, Runas bet 2200 which was enough to win the hand as his opponent folded. Runas showed his 10 10 set.


Terry Fan shoves for the win

Level: 5 Blinds: 100/200 Ante: 25

Terry Fan picked up some chips against a player on the big blind when his raise to 1300 in mid position was called. At the flop, K 4 3, the bb checked to Fan who made a continuation bet of 1500 but only to get raised to 3700 by the bb. Fan flat-called the raise and both players went to see the turn land 6. Thinking he was on the driver’s seat, the bb led out for 4700 only to face a 14,500 all in shove by Fan. Too much to handle, the bb folded and Fan took down the pot.


Derrick Dimayuga wins and rails with Big Slick

Level: 4 Blinds: 100/200 Ante:

With a raise to 600 by the mp player, four players made the call and a flop of K Q 10 landed on the board.  Action began with the bb and utg player checking to the mp who dumped in 1500 which only Derrick Dimayuga on the cutoff called. At the turn of 5, mp went all in and Dimayuga called. Dimayuga was ahead with A K against mp’s K J. With the river of 2 not of any help, Dimayuga railed one and was shipped a nice pot.



Supnet given a painful boot

Level: 4 Blinds: 100/200 Ante:

On a board of 10 K Q 8, Jessie Supnet pushed all in and was called by the cutoff player. Supnet was ahead with K Q two pairs versus cutoff’s Q 9. But with the river of J slapped on the board, not only did the cutoff get his flush but he also got his straight thus giving Supnet the painful departure.


Ron Alvin Rivera doubles up

Level: 4 Blinds: 100/200 Ante:

Facing multiple limpers, Ron Alvin Rivera pushed all in with 14K and got one caller for a showdown. Rivera had A K against his opponent’s A Q. With the board running 8 2 6 2 5, Rivera doubles up with a sweet nut flush.


Elun Zak’s earns some for his straight

Level: 4 Blinds: 100/200 Ante:

Action kicked off with the hijack player raising it up to 600 and getting called by Elun Zak on the button seat and the sb player. At the flop of A Q 9, sb checked to hj who bet 1000, and got called by Zak. At the turn of 10, hj checked to Zak who then bet 2300. The hj called. Then with the river of 5 completing the board, both players checked and hj quickly mucked when he saw Zak’s K J for a straight.


Hans Lim aggressive play

Level: 4 Blinds: 100/200 Ante:

Hans Lim three-bet the utg player to make it 1100 to go. The utg called and off to the flop they went with 8 J A landing on the board. The utg checked to Lim who banged out 2300 which was enough to get his opponent to fold. Lim showed his 6 3 flush draw.


Fearless Lester Edoc

Level: 4 Blinds: 100/200 Ante:

With a flop showing 9 A K, Lester Edoc bet 500 only to face a raise to 1200 by the button player. Ready to dance, Edoc re-raised to 2500, and without much thought, the db called. At the turn of 8, Edoc banged out 8000, and once again he was called by the db player. Then with the river of 10, Edoc lured his opponent in with a smaller bet of 6000. Edoc won the hand with his 7 6 for a straight.
