HomeLinh Tran from Canada is starting to put in some serious work.
Craig Sloan, who was Day 1A’s chip-leader, led out with a min-raise which was met by the small blind, Linh Tran.
Both players checked the flop 8♣ 6♣ A♠ but on the turn 8♦ Tran opened with 5,300. Sloan called.
The river 7♣ arrived and Tran bet 9,000 only to see a re-raise of 29,000 from Sloan… Tran called, showed 8♥ 8♠ and Sloan mucked his hand.
Tran has now over 90,000 while Sloan drops to around 120,000.
