River 7 Saves Brion

Ian Brion was halfway out the door before the river came.

All-in with his final 11,000 with just A 7, Brion faced an opponent’s pocket sixes in a preflop battle.

Flop K 4 8 provided no sort of help and the turn 10 gave no glimmer of hope.

And then, the poker gods decided to give Brion his lease on life by gifting him with a 7 on the river.

Brion survives and rises to roughly 22,000 in chips.
