Byung Park’s fall when he fell for Jun Saito’s limp…
First to act, Saito added the minimum to just join the hand… Park thought for a bit but shoved his short stack of 25,000 or so. Saito called.
Saito: A♦ J♦
Park: A♣ 10♣
Flop of Q♥ 8♥ 4♣ didn’t help Park. And neither did the turn 8♦ and river 2♠.
Park is ousted in 43rd and takes home PHP 69,000.
This is too fast even for the capable crew of APT’s live reporting team but we can report that we’re down to 36 players– individual hands of those busts out coming up!
The Philippines’ Jessie Supnet opened preflop to 17,000 but saw Allan Hon from Malaysia re-raise to 40,000.
Supnet called to bring in the flop Q♥ 4♥ 2♥.
Hon shoved but saw Supnet wasn’t planning to go away.
Hon: 9♦ 9♣
Supnet: A♦ J♣
Turn 8♠ was safe for Hon but the river J♥ wasn’t busting Hon out in 44th place for PHP 69,000.
Joseroy Jeremias or Joel or Whoody is our first bust out in Day 3!
Marc Rivera opened to 16,000 preflop and found a caller in Jeremias from across the table.
Rivera bet another 20,000 on the flop 7♣ 7♦ 7♠ forcing Jeremias to shove… He did.
Rivera: K♠ 10♠
Jeremias: K♣ Q♣
Jeremias had a good chance of doubling up early but the turn 10♦ decided other wise and the river 8♥ formalized his ouster at 45th place.
Jeremias goes home with PHP 69,000.
