Jerry Lai check-called on the flop 9♣ Q♥ 2♠ after Annie Bordallo’s 15,000-bet.

Both checked the turn J♣ and on the river 7♠, Lai led out for 38,000 but Annie added 65,000 more for the raise… Lai tanked and tanked but eventually made the call.

Lai’s good call brings him to over 500,000 in chips while dropping Bordallo’s to around 150,000.
