Enriquez’s Steal Attempt Backfires

With the action folded to the them, small blind Kim Enriquez shoved hisstack still worth around 70,000 but saw the big blind with the quick call for a blinds showdown.

Bad news for Enriquez who only had 10 8 and was up against the big blind’s (Victorino Torres) A Q.

The flop K 4 10 gave Enriquez the lead but the turn J gave it right back to Torres, who made the straight. Drawing dead on the river 3, Enriquez gets booted out late in Day 2.

Torres upped to 200,000 in chips after the great call.
