Back-to-Back D’Up for Jeremias

What time to get the bullets and the big slick.

With just 6,000 behind, Joel Jeremias woke up with A A and shoved. One player who merely had 3 4 called, much to the delight of Jeremias.

Flop 3 2 9 gave Jeremias’ opponent the pair but the turn 5 and river 10 did not provide the bad beat. Jeremias doubled up to around 18,000 at this point.

In the next hand, Jeremias woke up again with a great hand: A K. And for the second straight time he found a caller when he shoved.

Similar to the first double-up, he was ahead and was only up against 7 6.

The flop A J 3 brought a sigh of relief for Jeremias and the next two 8 2 confirmed his second consecutive double-up.

He now has around 40,000– wayyy better than his under 10K stack about 10 minutes hands ago.
