Torres Hits, Doubles Off Kukreja

With just around 500,000, Haresh Kukrekja moved all-in and was met in the middle by Haresh Kukreja.

Kukreja: A 3
Torres: Q 8

Haresh was still ahead after the flop 3 7 4 but not after the river 8 when Torres hits his own (higher) pair.

Torres is back to around a million and dropped to around 1.3M


Kukruja Battles Back

Facing a preflop raise from Lester Edoc, Haresh Kukreja’s decisive response was to go all with roughly 1M or so.

Edoc tank-called with A 3 and was behind against Kukreja’s 7 7.

Flop 8 4 6 was safe for Kukreja as well as the turn J and river 5. The player from India doubles up to over 2.1M in chips and Edoc’s stack gets cut down to 1.8M


Filipinos Split Pot

Level: 31 Blinds: 50000-100000 Ante: 10000

Czardy Rivera opened the action to 220,000 and saw Lester Edoc call from across the table.

Edoc fired 200,000 each on all streets; flop K 4 4, turn Q and river 8 and each time, Rivera called.

And after all that action, they actually just split the pot:

Rivera Back in Business

Level: 30 Blinds: 40000-80000 Ante: 10000

Rivera opened preflop to 180,000 but saw Kukreja re-pop to 300,000. Rivera called.

Flop: A 10 2

Kukreja led out with 250K but this time it was Rivera who re-popped to 520K. Kukreja called.

Kukreja checked the turn 4 and Rivera shoved his remaining stack worth 720K!

Kukreja was sent to the tank and eventually folded.

Rivera has now 2.5M and Kukreja falls to 1.4M


Edoc vs. Kukreja II

Level: 30 Blinds: 40000-80000 Ante: 10000

This time, it’s Lester Edoc who led out with 160K preflop. Haresh Kukreja made the call to bring the flop K Q 2.

Edoc bet 200K on the turn A. Kukreja called. Edoc bet another 300K on the river 8 and again, Kukreja called.

Edoc tabled K 2 for the two pair and Haresh mucked his hand.

Lester gets back to roughly 1.9M and Haresh has now around 2.4M.


Edoc vs. Kukreja I

Level: 30 Blinds: 40000-80000 Ante: 10000

Lester Edoc opened to 160,000 preflop and the call was made by Haresh Kukreja. Both checked the flop Q Q 5.

Haresh check-called an Edoc bet of 100K on the turn 5 and check-called again an Edoc bet of 250K on the river 7.

Edoc showed 10 7 but couldn’t beat Haresh’s A 7.

Edoc drops to 1.2M while Haresh has now 2.5M


Kukreja on a Roll Now

Level: 30 Blinds: 40000-80000 Ante: 10000

Victorino Torres opened the action to 180,000 preflop and saw a call from Czardy Rivera. Haresh Kukreja wanted more though and re-popped to 480,000. Torres made the call and Rivera didn’t want to risk any more of his chips.

Flop: 2 7 9

Haresh led out big again with 400,000 to send Torres to the tank… When he got out, he decided to give up the hand.

Torres still has the bigger stack but Haresh is closing in with roughly 2.1M in chips.


Acfalle Ousted (5th Place – PHP 920,000)

Level: 29 Blinds: 30000-60000 Ante: 10000

Acfalle Jr. took a big hit from Czardy Rivera in a previous hand and shoved his final 290,000 or so preflop with A 8.

Haresh Kekruja wanted the action and called with J K.

Flop 10 6 Q gave Kekruja more outs and he’d hit one on the turn A for the straight. Drawing dead, Acfalle Jr. bows out of this main event and settles for 5th place for PHP 920,000
