On a flop of K♣(9s} 10♠, Craig Sloan had J♥ Q♥ and was just waiting to pounce on his opponent, Erik Johanssen. The latter shoved and of course, Sloan snap-called.
Johanssen only had A♦ 4♦ and he gets busted out after the dealer tabled the turn K♦ and the river 5♠.
Johanssen exits in 37th place for PHP 69,000.
While we saw lots of eliminations already, the outspoken Mandeep Narang survived when his tournament life was at risk…
Narang was all-in with A♦ 8♥ and was called by Haresh Kekreja, who had Q♥ Q♦.
Flop: 10♣ 5♣ A♣
Turn: K♥
River: 9♣
And Narang goes deeper into Day 3 with now around 170,000.
Three players were all-in on a board of A♣ 9♦ 6♦ 10♠.
Victorino led out with 45,000 on the river K♦ and short-stacks Jon Bargfrede and The Vu Van both called and were at risk.
Bargfrede had K♠ K♦ while Vu Van had 6♠ 6♥.
Good enough hands… Until they saw Torres’ J♦ Q♠, which means both of them is sent to the rail.
With suited A-10, Joaquin Torres decided it was time to double-up or go home… In a preflop showdown with Arnold Bathan, who had 9♣ 9♠
Dealer boarded 2♣ 5♠ 8♦ J♥ K♣ and Torres’ main event run ends. He ends up with PHP 69,000.
Tan Gay Peng moved all in but was met by Srinivas Polishetty in the middle for a preflop showdown:

Polishetty: A♦ A♠
Flop Q♠ 9♦ 8♠ turn 8♥ and river 10♠ and the aces can’t be cracked.
Peng gets the boot but goes home with PHP 69.000
Aussie Thai Tran settles for a PHP 69,000 payout after his Q♦ 8♠ couldn’t upset Craig Sloan’s A♣ 9♣.
