After a preflop re-raise, Muhammad Dasreen held A♣ Q♠ and faced an all-in from a player who had a similar but shorter stack than him.
Dasreen made the call and was shown the bad news when the opponent showed A♦ K♦.
The flop 2♦ 7♣ 6♠ changed none for both as did the turn 8♠.
However, the river Q♦ was the one of the three-outers Dasreen was looking for and he doubled up to around 30,000 and at the same time busting out a player from Day 1B.
Nam Le opened preflop to 500 but saw the hi-jack player re-pop it to 1,150, which Le called.
Le checked the flop 3♥ 2♦ 5♦ and faced another bet of 2,125 from his opponent.
Le called and the dealer tabled the turn 8♣, which he checked again. The opponent led out this time with 3,100 but Le was an unbeliever as he chose to call.
River 9♦ completed the board and was checked by both players.
Le’s opponent had a legit hand A♠ A♣ and his A♥ Q♥ was apparently dominated all the way. Le’s stack drops to around 20,000.
… was apparently a good decision.
Serge Denis from mid-position opened with 600 preflop. Jin Young Choi from the cut-off re-raised to 1,300 and was faced with a three-bet of 3,000 from Denis.
Choi wasn’t done however, adding 3,300 more for the four-bet!
This seriously put Denis deep into the tank…
“Will you show?” he asked the Choi from across the table.
Eventually he decided to fold… and showed everyone he had K♦ K♠.
Choi did him a favor and flashed her A♠ A♣.
Good fold?
The dealer already tabled K♠ 9♠ 6♦ 3♦ when Marc Rivera bet 3,000 and found a customer from the middle position.
River 3♠ arrived and Rivera led out once again… Opponent folded, and Rivera showed A♥ K♥ just for fun.
In a previous report, an unnamed player cracked Martin Gonzales’ Aces to win a small pot.
That player is actually Apoorva Goel, who again faced Gonzales in a crucial hand.
Post flop of 5♥ 5♦ 9♣, Goel check-raised Gonzales to 5,000, which the latter called.
Both player checked the turn A♦ but on the river 2♥ Goel added 4,000 to the middle to which Gonzales called.
Goel tabled 9♥ 9♦ for the full house, again beating Gonzales, who had Q♣ Q♥.
Eman Segismundo opened preflop to 700 and found multiple callers to bring the flop A♣ 9♦ 2♠.
Segismundo led out once again but this time saw a raise from the opponent from mid-position. Segisumundo made the call and another 9♠ arrived on the turn.
Segismundo checked, the opponent bet, Segismundo re-pops and opponent three-bets shove!
Apparently, that was what Segismundo wanted as he called the all-in!
Segismundo: 7♣ 9♣
MP Player: A♦ Q♣
No lady on the river K♠ and Segismundo climbs to over 46,000 after the big win.
From mid-position, a player raised to 500 preflop and saw a re-raise from Martin Gonzales to 1,000. MP player three-bet to 2,675, to which Martin G just flat-called.
Curiously, both players checked the flop K♠ 10♣ J♥ and turn 9♥.
On the river 2♦ MP player bet 2,000 and Gonzales made the call.
MP player: K♣ K♦
Gonzales: A♣ A♦
Sure, the Aces got cracked but this one did not hurt Gonzales’ stack as much as this.
From the big blind Dmitri Gershenzon wanted more action and bet 300 more preflop. Small blind made the call as well as one limper from the cut-off.
All players checked the flop K♥ 9♦ 7♣ but on the turn 5♣ the SB player opened to 400 and sa Gershenzon re-popped it to 1,250.
The CO player folded his hand and SB called bringing the river 9♥.
SB checked his option, Gerhsenzon added a big one this time– to 2,600. Enough to take down the healthy pot.
