Japan’s Iori Yogo is chasing Sam Razavi, the four-time APT Player of the Year, in this year’s race.
(Latest posted APT POY Standings)
RANK | NAME | COUNTRY | TITLES | ITM | POY |
1 | SAMAD RAZAVI | ENGLAND | 7 | 20 | 2,411.50 |
2 | Iori Yogo | Japan | 5 | 16 | 2,156.80 |
3 | John Tech | Philippines | 2 | 7 | 1,553.40 |
4 | Lester Edoc | Philippines | 3 | 11 | 1,514.50 |
5 | Adrian Brion | Philippines | 2 | 9 | 1,332.40 |
Eyes (or specifically, just Sam Razavi’s) will be on Yogo today if he can survive Day 2 and enter the money round, which means huge APT POY points.
Curiously, it’s only Razavi who did not qualify for Day among the Top 5 in the APT POY race with Yogo, John Tech, Lester Edoc and Ian Brion all playing today.
