The APT Kickoff 2019 Vietnam awarded another set of trophies. Duy Ho, Jin Pyeong Gyu, and Tai Duc Huynh each received an APT golden lion for their achievement. Impressively, this was Huynh second win. He shipped the NLH Single Day event a few days ago.

Tai Duc Huynh wins a second golden lion
The two-day No Limit Hold’em event – buyin VND 8.8M – drew 97 runners for a prize pool of VND 752,720,000. Holding the torch up high for the second time was Tai Duc Huynh. Duy Ho wins the Deep Stack Turbo 1
USA’s Duy Ho bagged one of those wicked cool APT golden lions. Considerably the liveliest player at the tables, he topped the competition at the Deep Stack Turbo 1 event besting a field of 65 entries. You can watch the Final 8 match in APT Twitch and APT YouTube. He earned VND 86,957,000.
Duy is running well at the series. This was his fourth cash. His best payday was at the Main Event where he finished in 14th place for around USD 6,000.
Jin Pyeong Gyu wins the Deep Stack Turbo 2
With a slew of events lined up today, the Deep Stack Turbo 2 attracted a much smaller field than its first version. This one had 47 entries for a prize pool of VND 273,540,00. The Final 8 match also streamed live in APT Twitch and APT YouTube. Closing it out was Korea’s Jin Pyeong Gyu defeating India’s Kunal Patni for his first victory at the series. He pocketed the VND 85,835,000 first prize along with the APT golden lion trophy.
