Day 5 at the APT India Online Series 2022 paid out a huge IN₹ 1.04 Crore across five tournaments. The bulk was at the featured APT Championship Event where Punya “madhumangal” Prabha claimed the title, the APT Championship Event Trophy, and APT Championship Ring. The other four events are listed below. Before winning the day’s headliner, Prabha shipped the PLO-5 event . He is the only to player to date to have won two events in this series. APT #22: Superstack – RAJNEESH “msdhoni” THAKUR – IN₹ 1,03,756 (~US$ 1,385)
The 6-Handed Super Stack event opened the day attracting a big crowd of 534 total entries (262 uniques, 272 re-entries) to exceed the 5L guarantee. Out of the 63 players that dipped in the IN₹ 5,34,000 prize pool, the biggest cut went to Rajneesh “msdhoni” Thakur for his victory.
Thakur eliminated “sameer78677” in 4th place then faced “Rohanbodh” at heads up backed by a monster 15:1 chip advantage. Still, the race to victory was not an easy one. His lead trimmed to 5:1 after losing several pots to Rohanbodh that included an all in showdown. The players opted to check the numbers resulting in a failed deal. Thakur went on to win it redeeming himself from Day 4’s runner up finish at the 5L GTD event. Thakur pocketed for IN₹ 1,03,756 for his first ever APT victory.

APT #23: Monster Stack – ADITYA “orlsrdb” PATIL – IN₹ 1,54,630 (~US$ 2,062)
The second Monster Stack event of the series didn’t do quite as well as the first one with 325 entering (174 uniques, 151 re-entries) for an overlay of IN₹ 60K to the 7L guaranteed prize pool. 36 players walked away in the money with Aditya “orlsrdb” Patil banking the largest share of IN₹ 1,54,630.
By four handed, Patil had 75% of the chips were at his disposal. After the fall of Siddarth “CARDashian66” Kadel, both Ritwik “Ritwikkhanna” Khanna and “vaibhi18” put up a strong fight but ultimately could not overtake the leader. Patil denied Khanna a second series win in 3rd place then claimed his first ever APT win after defeating vaibhi18 at heads up. For 7th placer Abhiroop “Daniel90” Gupta, it was his second final table of the day having also finished 7th at the Superstack event.

Big day for Punya “madhumangal” Prabha becoming the first player to win two events in this series. Prabha came out swinging at the day’s PLO-5 event to capture his first ever APT win then went on the ship the featured Championship Event. The PLO-5 event drew 252 entries and at IN₹ 2,200 each, it resulted in an overlay of IN₹ 96,000. At heads up, a deal was reached with Karan “conversestruck” Thakur that guaranteed Prabha the larger payout of IN₹ 1,15,090. The pair played on for another eighteen minutes before Prabha finally closed it out.

On her second bullet, Sharma proceeded to crush the final table, defeating well known pro Rubin “kornkid” Labroo at heads up.

Out of the 72 players dipping in the pot, Ashish “rocky3705” Ahuja claimed the largest share of IN₹ 2,13,570 for his first ever APT victory. All in all it was a great day for Ahuja who also place 12th at the Championship Event for IN₹ 91,770.
