Chen An Lin wins the WeLoveSport Super Deep Stack Turbo

79 runners hopped on the sponsored WeLoveSport Super Deep Stack Turbo and at TWD 7,700 buy-in, they battled for a piece of the TWD 536,400 (~USD 17,400) prize pool. At 15 remaining, Zhewen Hu delivered the bubble with J J holding up against a player’s A Q. Once the money flowed, players fell in quick succession.

At three-handed, Edward Yam was crippled by Chen An Lin with A K finding a king on the turn to dust pocket queens. Yam busted on the next hand and it was heads up between Chen and Jinhyo Yoo. It took only one hand to secure the win. Chen had K Q, Yoo K 5, the board ran empty with no hits for either player.

First-ever win for Seung Yeol Kim at the Deep Stack Hyper Turbo

At a lowly fee of TWD 5,500, the Deep Stack Hyper Turbo drew a crowd of 48 runners for a pot of TWD 232,800 (~USD 7,600). When it was down to the bubble round with 9 remaining, the wrestle for a piece of the money was incredibly thrilling. The short stacked Seung Yeol Kim won back-to-back boosts; first a triple up followed by a double up holding pocket aces both times. This immediately sent him to the leader’s seat while in the process dethroning Zong Chi He down to near runt of  the pack.

With the bubble round still at hand, Wang Wu Yi went on a shoving spree finding no callers all five times to drive his stack to the chip lead. On his sixth action, Wang opted to min-raise (seat 1), the lone female player (seat 2) beside him went all in for less,  when the cards were turned, Wang had A A, the at-risk player with 5 5, no help came on the board and it was money time for the final 8 players.

Like the turbo event above, players dropped like flies and soon it was heads up with Kim ahead of Wang. Wang all in with A 5 called by Kim with a dominating A J. The board ran A 8 7 4 3
