Recapping the action at Day 1B, 84 players survived the eight rounds. Closing the heat as chip leader was Korea’s Seongsu Kong with 226,900 in chips. Kong is having a great run at the series. A few days ago he shipped the Short Deck event for his third-ever APT event title.

Also packing up stacks near par with the leader were Julien Weymouth (217,400), Bae Chul Ho (216,900), Anthony “Ozy” Abram, and Florencio Campomanes (214,600).

As always, many notable players joined the action including APTT major title-holders. Surviving the heat were: Gyeong Byeong Lee (181,700), Cao Ngoc Anh (162,500), Alexis Lim (123,200), Joven Huerto (85,900), Siyoung Lee (84,100), Kannapong Thanarattrakul (81,800),  and Iori Yogo (44,600).

The 84 Day 1B survivors merge with the 43 Day 1A survivors for 127 players in Day 2. Game resumes on Friday, September 20 at 1pm for another eight rounds of action. Registration is still open for one hour, closing at the start of Level 10.
